My children have been Karate World students for 6 years, last year I finally decided to step up and take the plunge. The Instructors offers great enthusiasm in class that is second to none and we just keep coming back for more. To motivate yourself can sometimes be difficult but with his encouragement you keep on going and keep on trying, children and adults alike. Karate World cater for all ages and abilities, plus there is the added bonus of respect being shown and practiced throughout the academyand of course there is the fitness, confidence building and also this is something you can enjoy as a family  Kaye W

I joined Karate World 4 months ago along with my partner and son. I can't believe how my sons confidence has developed not to mention ourfitness levels. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, it's just like one big family and we look forward to every class we go to. We are on the challenging path to getting our black belts and none of this would be possible if it wasn't for the instructors who keeps us motivated. We would definately recommend Karate World to anyone, no need to be shy or nervous as you will be made to feel welcome by all. Karate World really changed my life, in a very short time. They have managed to do what me and my family believed impossible;build my confidence and make me a generally happier person. Karate world is not just about martial arts, its good for yourfitness, your confidence, self esteem and development. I have been a member of Karate World for over two years now and its the best thing i started, its given me more confidence and fitness than i could have ever imagined, its so much better than just going to the gym. My instructor is an amazing role model to kids and adults alike, being taught by him is an honour and pleasure, i enjoy going training every time even if i dont feel like it some days, afterwards I’m buzzing and wish i could do another class straight away. Gary S

We have been at the Academy for nearly a year now and it has had a real benefit to my familys confidence. I have always wanted to learn Martial Arts myself, so it has been great to be fulfilling one of my childhood dreams with my wife, son and two daughters. When I retiredI needed to get fit so I joined Karate World. Despite my age the staff welcomed me and have continued to encourage me in my training. Initially we were looking for a Karate school to help with our daughters confidence and since joining Karate World as a family, we have all seen an improvement in our confidence, fitness and general wellbeing. I joined Karate World back in January 2008, my fitness has improved far better than any gym workI have done in the past and I am learning a great skill as well. All of the team and fellow members are friendly so any one can come along and join, however young or old. Karate World works for all ages. My daughter is doing the 'Dragons' class and loves it as she is learning the basics of Karate and also playing fun games and learning some good life skills.. For me it provides somewhere I can get fitter and also work towards my goal of achieving a Black Belt in Maarlisk Karate.
